Clare Hackney - Vice President, New York City
Clare Hackney serves as Vice President in New York City, coordinating projects in development, construction and asset management. Clare contributes a decade of industry experience spanning finance, development, construction and engineering. Prior to joining CompassRock, she served as a Development Associate and Portfolio Analyst at The Clarett Group, managing over $700MM in active real estate development investments. Also at The Clarett Group, Clare previously applied her engineering expertise to serve as Construction Project Manager for six luxury, mixed-use development projects comprising over 900 units in New York City.
Earlier in her career, Clare worked in engineering consulting, providing assessment, construction site management and regulatory project management solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects and environmentally contaminated sites throughout New York City. Notable projects include The World Trade Center Redevelopment, the Fulton Street Transit Center, Sky House, 200 West End Avenue and The Brooklyner. Clare earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Investment & Finance from New York University.
Paul Walsh – Vice President, Accounting
Paul Walsh serves as Vice President, Accounting overseeing the Accounting department at Peter Cooper Village / Stuyvesant Town. Mr. Walsh brings 15 years of experience in real estate accounting and finance including over 6 years in multi-family real estate based in New York City.
Prior to joining Peter Cooper Village / Stuyvesant Town, Mr. Walsh previously worked in muli-family as Controller of Vantage Properties where he was responsible for the accounting for over 4,000 units, Reliant Realty Services where he handled 30 properties having almost 6,000 units and Northbrook Partners where he managed the accounting for 12 properties. He also held roles in the office, retail and industrial sectors working at BlackRock as Assistant Portfolio Controller and with RREEF as Senior Accountant.
In addition, Mr. Walsh is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters in Real Estate Finance from New York University’s Schack Institute.
Thomas V. Feeney - Director of Maintenance Operations
Thomas Feeney serves as Director of Maintenance Operations overseeing all maintenance and facility operations since coming to Peter Cooper Village / Stuyvesant Town in 2006. Mr. Feeney has over 30 years of real estate industry experience and is considered a leader in the field. Prior to joining the management team at Peter Cooper Village / Stuyvesant Town he served as a senior member of the operations team with Tishman Speyer at Rockefeller Center for more than 10 years.
Gregg P. Haverstick - Director of Information Technology
Gregg Haverstick is responsible for all aspects of the community’s IT strategy, technical standards and practices, and IT infrastructure. Mr. Haverstick is a leader with 14-years of industry experience. Just prior to joining the team at Peter Cooper Village / Stuyvesant Town, Mr. Haverstick served as Property Management Applications Manager with The Related Companies.
William F. McClellan - Director of Public Safety
William McClellan has served as Director of Public Safety of Peter Cooper Village / Stuyvesant Town since he joined the management team in 2005. In this capacity, Mr. McClellan leads a team of more than 70 professionals overseeing all aspects of security and life safety for the property. He supervised the installation and implementation of a video and access control system and designed a state of the art Public Safety Command Center to optimize use of the security system and security personnel. Prior to taking on his current role, Mr. McClellan served 21 years as a decorated veteran in the New York City Police Department where he rose to the rank of Deputy Inspector and Commanding Officer of two Precincts.
